Pennsylvania Electrical Contractor Solutions preferred contractor Hirneisen Electric is continuing to make headway on the Adamstown Elementary School project.
As previously reported, the project got off to a late start due to the uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. After receiving permission from the state to begin construction despite the statewide “Stay at Home” order, the electricians were given the ability to freely work throughout the building.
In the new addition, all electrical rough-ins were completed and finishers are beginning to start. In the multi-use area, the LED lighting upgrade has been entirely installed.
With regards to power, a 60KW/75KVA – 120/208 generator was installed and all of the feeders have been pulled into the panel in the new addition.
With the bulk of the project complete, Hirneisen Electric will soon be putting the finishing touches on their portion of the project to make the school a better learning environment for all students.
The only work remaining for the electricians will be making finishes in the office addition. This addition is already roughed in with drywall devices, lighting, and security systems such as fire alarm and door security. They are also waiting on the grid ceiling to be installed in two classrooms so they can install the LED lighting upgrades.
They are also installing LED stage lighting upgrades in the auditorium.
