Hirneisen Electric, a preferred Pennsylvania Electrical Contractor Solutions contractor, is constructing a medical college.
The facility is being funded thanks to Tower Health and the Drexel University College of Medicine, who teamed up to bring a learning institution to West Reading for future generations of medical professionals.
Hirneisen was selected to complete the work due to their exceptional record and prior experience working on similar projects. While unique to the area, Hirneisen has performed similar work that will enable them to complete this project with skill, accuracy and in a timely manner.
As reported by Drexel NOW, Tower Health expressed thanks for being able to work in Berks County with Drexel University.
“Our collaboration with Drexel University further enhances our ongoing commitment to our academic mission by educating the physicians of tomorrow while also having a positive economic impact in Berks County,” said Clint Matthews, Tower Health President and CEO in a prepared statement.
Currently, four electricians are working on the project. The four have been running underground conduit for the service, which is scheduled to be wrapped in 2021. At the project’s peak, it will employ about 20 Hirneisen electricians.
The finished product will be a dynamic facility, which will accommodate multiple learning styles. It will house traditional classrooms, simulated patient rooms, anatomy labs, simulation labs, a fitness center and more.
Hirneisen electricians have been hard at work, making progress on this project. During their time on the jobsite, they have worked safely and efficiently to ensure their position of the project is completed on-time and on-budget.
