Pagoda Electrical Inc., a Pennsylvania Electrical Contractor Solutions (PECS) preferred contractor, recently began working on the new Penn State Health Lancaster Medical Center.
The project, which is set to be completed by July 2022, is located on 30-acres in East Hempfield Township, near state Route 283. The five-story acute care facility will have 129 beds.
The newest hospital in the Penn State Health network of hospitals will be able to handle a multitude of needs. It is to feature in-patient beds, emergency department, imaging lab, surgical lab and a second building for outpatient care. In total, the construction will include a 34,000 square foot main building, a 60,000 square foot medical arts building and a 400-space parking garage.
