No matter the scope of the project, the independently owned contractors affiliated with Pennsylvania Electrical Contractor Solutions have a staunch record of supporting worker safety above all else.

PECS affiliated contractors employ electricians and electrical workers who receive industry-leading safety certifications and carefully follow all safety standards on the jobsite.

Their primary safety goal is to ensure no employee is put into an unsafe situation either by their own doing, while with coworkers or through company orders. Our affiliates continually strive to provide the resources to create a zero-incident workplace for their employees.

In addition to employing electricians and electrical workers, PECS contractors also employ experienced men and women who perform routine inspections in order to reveal and address any known or potential hazard, as well as makes sure that the employees on the job are notified of any hazards and trained about such hazards.

OSHA Training keeps jobsites safe

Before we put members to work on jobsites, the work that keeps them safe starts in the classroom. All PECS affiliated contractors employs electricians and electrical workers who undergo industry-leading OSHA training to ensure they do not harm themselves or put others at harm on the job.

During their OSHA training, employees learn about the four hazards, which  are responsible for the majority of jobsite injuries and deaths. The “Focus Four Hazards,” include:

  1. Fall Hazards
  2. Caught-In-Between Hazards
  3. Struck-By Hazards
  4. Electrical Hazards

Our goal is to create a zero injury workplace

PECS promotes safety to our affiliated contractors and one of our goals for them is to have a zero incident workplace. We believe this goal of zero incidents can be achieved through following best practices:

  • Believe - All injuries on jobsites are preventable
  • Educate - While all hazards will exist, it is the job of our affiliated contractors to educate and equip their employees to identify and prioritize these risks
  • Think ahead - A safe job is one that is well thought out and planned
  • Responsibility - Every employee is responsible for their own safety and the safety of others working around them
  • Innovate - It is everyone’s job to find better and safer ways to do a task - just be innovative.
